After-School Club

At the start of the afternoon all the children sit down for a snack from a varied menu.
Children can choose from a wide range of activities, including construction toys, soft toys, games, computers, video games, arts and crafts, or just playing and chatting with friends.
You can arrange to collect your children any time up to 5:40 pm.
Prices are £9.00 per session
Late and one-off bookings are accommodated whenever possible

Piglet's Corner

Piglet’s corner is a pre-school childcare provision within Mendel Primary School. It is a safe, secure and friendly environment where children can play, explore and join in with a variety of different activities.

During a Piglets corner session the children will have the opportunity to be involved in;
Messy play
Sensory activities
Role Play
Building and construction
Cosy Corner
Music and Dance
Arts and Crafts
Story time
Outdoor play
We will have song and Rhyme times and story time.

There will also be times when we may visit Bromborough Library or the local woods.

During the sessions children will be provided with a healthy snack however children attending full day sessions will be required to bring a packed lunch.

Children learn through exploring and hands on experiences, they will get messy and dirty.

When registering at piglets corner your child will be given a key worker, who will help support you and your child and ensure that they feel happy safe and secure whilst here.

We are open Monday to Friday and offer full day 9am to 3pm and half day sessions. Morning 9am to 12noon, afternoon sessions from 12 noon to 3pm.

We also offer wrap around care from 12pm to 3pm for children who attend Mendell f1 setting

The children will also be able to access Sky out of school club

Breakfast club which opens at 7.30am till 9am

Sky after school club provision which runs from 3pm till 5.40pm
